India's star batter Virat Kohli once again won many hearts by showing his humility and huge respect for Pakistan captain Babar Azam after the high-voltage clash on Saturday.
The Men in Blue registered a thumping win over the arch-rivals in match 12 of the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The match turned out to be a one-sided fair towards the end as India took the top spot in the points table with three wins out of the first three matches.
Virat once again caught attention as he was seen making a kind gesture towards Babar, gifting him team India's signed jersey, and also had a brief conversation with him after the match.

The Babar-led side once again put up a below-average performance as they couldn't hamper India's winning streak in the ODI World Cups which improved to 8-0 on Saturday.
Talking about the match, both teams headed into the contest, having two wins under their belt after the first two matches as Rohit Sharnma decided to bowl first in front of the jam-packed stadium with around 1,00,000 capacity.
After a nervy start, the Indian bowlers produced a remarkable effort to bow Pakistan out for just 191 runs in 42.5 overs.
India faced no hiccups as they chased down the total with seven wickets in hand and 19.3 overs to spare.
Skipper Rohit once again put up a show as he carried his good form forward, smashing 86 runs off 63 balls with the help of six fours and as many sixes.
Shreyas Iyer did well to make 53 not out off 62 balls, giving India its eighth straight victory over Pakistan in Men’s ODI World Cups.
After the match, Babar asked for a jersey from Virat as the video of the duo's precious meet went viral on social media.
While Virat had a disappointing outing with the bat, scoring just 16 runs in the run chase, Babar managed to end the poor run of form as he scored his half-century, his first against India in ODIs before he was undone by Siraj.

Babar talked about the defeat and said they looked for 280-290 but the middle-order collapse didn’t work in their favour.
"We started well. A good partnership between me and Imam. We wanted to play normal cricket (me and Rizwan). Suddenly we had a collapse and didn’t finish well. The way we started, wanted to target 280-290. With the new ball, we are not up to the mark. The way Rohit is playing – he played an outstanding inning," he said in the post-match presentation.
