IND vs PAK Match 5 Team Prediction For Today's ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Match:
India will be looking to maintain their winning momentum when they face arch-rivals Pakistan in match 5 of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, February 23.
The India team will be heading into the all-important match against Pakistan on the back of a remarkable win in their first match. They kicked off their Champions Trophy 2025 campaign in the best possible way and registered a 6-wicket win over Bangladesh in their first group A fixture.
Mohammed Shami and Shubman Gill were the star performers for the Men in Blue who now will be looking to take the much-awaited revenge against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy 2025.
Pakistan are the defending champions, having lifted the Champions Trophy title in its previous edition which was played way back in 2017. They had clinched a memorable win by 180 runs over arch-rivals India at The Oval.
While Shami's magnificent five-haul helped India bowl Bangladesh out for 228 runs, Gill smashed a marvellous hundred in the Men in Blues' successful run chase in 46.3 overs despite a few hiccups. The young opener played a match-winning knock of unbeaten 101 runs on the back of nine fours and two sixes.
Pakistan, on the other hand, are in desperate need of a win over India in order to remain in contention for the final over. Their Champions Trophy 2025 campaign began on a disappointing note as they not only suffered a 60-run defeat against New Zealand in Karachi but Fakhar Zaman was also ruled out of the tournament due to an injury.

Even in the India vs Bangladesh Champions Trophy clash, run-making wasn't easy. The batters will need to spend some time in the middle to get familiar with the challenging conditions to score big runs.
In Dubai, only four teams have been able to cross the 300-run mark in ODIs. The average first-innings score at this venue remains 219. So, a 250-plus target should be considered decent.
