IND vs SA 1st Test: Indian openers KL Rahul and Yashvi Jaiswal had a forgetful outing during the second innings of the ongoing Test match against South Africa in Kolkata. The host began the third day needing 124 runs to win as they had skittled the visitors out in the morning session. The fans were hoping that these openers would give the team a flying start.

But things didn't go in their favour. Yashasvi Jaiswal got out for a four-ball duck. And then KL Rahul too was dismissed cheaply, who had scored 1 run off 6 balls, as Marco Jansen took his wicket. Till the third over, the host had lost both the openers.
Owing to their woeful performance, they had made an unwanted record. They had scored 1 run, and that was the lowest total by any Indian opener in this format at home.
