Mohammed Shami has set the World Cup on fire with his remarkable wicket-taking form. He has played just three matches in the tournament so far and has picked up 14 wickets with the help of two five-wicket hauls.

He picked up five wickets in his first match against New Zealand followed by four against the defending champions England. Shami continued his rhythm and took five more against Sri Lanka.

The star pacer has looked lethal so far, especially with the new ball, and has got promising support form fellow pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj.

All three pacers have developed a dangerous trio and even picked up nine out of ten wickets in the last match. 

Virat Kohli is celebrating his 35th birthday today and what a special moment this is for the star batter as he will be in action with India facing South Africa in Kolkata. 

Kohli will be aiming to make his special day even more memorable by putting up an effective performance with the bat to help his team clinch a win.

He has been in remarkable form throughout the tournament, having scored 442 runs in seven matches so far as he is the top run-getter for India in World Cup 2023 so far.
