Indian middle-order sensation in T20s, Rinku Singh made his mark yet again in the 2nd T20I against South Africa on Tuesday, smashing an unbeaten 68 off 39 balls. The 26-year-old smashed 9 fours and 2 sixes in his innings to power India to 180 for 7 at the end of 19.3 overs before rain interrupted.
His innings entertained the crowd as one his gigantic sixes smashed a glass covering of the media box. BCCI's digital media manager Rajal Arora confirmed it with a post on her official X handle with a photo of the broken glass.

Put in to bat, India faced early setbacks with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill departing for just six runs. However, Suryakumar Yadav emerged as a key contributor, scoring 56 off 36 balls.
Suryakumar Yadav anchored the innings, forming vital partnerships with Tilak Varma (29 off 20) and later with Rinku Singh, who remained unbeaten at 68 off 39 deliveries. The duo's impressive 70-run stand steadied the innings after the initial setbacks.
Rinku Singh, playing for the first time in South Africa, demonstrated his prowess by initially taking his time and then accelerating the scoring. His well-paced innings included eye-catching square-of-the-wicket shots and two straight sixes off Aiden Markram.
Tilak Varma, batting at number three, showed promise in the middle but eventually got caught at deep third man in the sixth over. Despite the early losses, the Indian batters continued to play aggressively, with Suryakumar Yadav leading the charge with three well-timed sixes.
Rain interrupted play at St George's Park with three balls left in the innings, and Gerald Coetzee was on a hat trick after dismissing Ravindra Jadeja and Arshdeep Singh.
South Africa has been set a target of 152 in 15 overs.
