India and Sri Lanka are all set to face off in the Super Four stage of the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Tuesday, September 12.
Both teams are coming off a victory in their respective last matches. India beat Pakistan at the same venue while Sri Lanka got the better of Bangladesh for the second time in the tournament.
The past few matches have witnessed rain interruptions at the scheduled venue with the weather conditions in Colombo making it a concern for everyone.
India will be heading into the game without any rest, having played Pakistan in the last couple of days as the match was forced to be played on the reserve day due to rain interruption.
If rain washes out the match between India and Sri Lanka, both teams will share one point each as there is not any reserve day for the contest.
