India and Sri Lanka are set to be up against each other for the second time in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 as they aim for the title win in the final at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday, September 17.

India are coming off a defeat in their last match against Bangladesh while Sri Lanka got the better of Pakistan to knock them out and made it to the final of the tournament.

Both teams have suffered just one defeat in the tournament so far as the best two teams fight for the Asia Cup crown.

India will look to clinch their record eighth title whereas Sri Lanka will be aiming to end India's dominance by matching their tally with a seventh title win.

Axar Patel is not available for the Rohit Sharma-led side as he was ruled out of the injury. The defending champions also suffered a major blow ahead of the summit clash as key spinner Maheesh Theekshana was ruled out of the match due to a hamstring issue.

 

Toss: The toss will take place at 2:30 PM IST.

Time: The match will start at 3:00 PM IST.
