IND vs WI 4th T20I Highlights: India Beat West Indies By 9 Wickets To Keep Series Alive

India clinched the victory by nine wickets as they keep the series alive. It's 2-2 now with the decisive game to be played in a few hours from now. That was a batting masterclass from young Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal as they promised India a famous win with a record opening stand.

Wicket! Gill departs after a stunning innings of 77 runs. What an innings that was from young Gill as he makes way for Tilak Varma. India very close to their second victory in the series.

Jaiswal doesn't look stopping as he smashed McCoy for a four and a six to add 13 more runs to the total.

13 runs came off that over as both the players reached their personal milestones as well. Gill brings up his fifty followed by a half-century for Jaiswal as well.

Both players look set at the crease as they take seven more off Hosein's over. The opening stand reaches 100-run mark for the Men in Blue for the first time in the series.

Gill catches up very well in the last few overs as he races away and goes past Jaiswal with India getting a much-needed fiery start in the chase.

Another good over for the Men in Blue as young Jaiswal aims to finish the game as soon as possible. India reach 50 in just five overs.

It looks like Jaiswal has come out at the crease after already being set as he looks in attacking mode. He smashes Holder for three fours in the over.

This is a very good total posted by the hosts as they are very much in the contest with this challenging score. An early collapse put them on backfoot but Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer's resistance inspired them to keep the attack on.

Wicket! Arshdeep takes his third wicket off the match. Hetmyer departs after playing an effective inning of 61 runs. West Indies are eight down now.

Mukesh did well to finish the over with a dot ball. The hosts managed to take eight runs off the over.

Wicke! Mukesh Kumar registers his name in the list of wicket-takers as he gets his first one of the match. Jason Holder departs for 3 runs to give India a seventh wicket.

Wicket! Axar takes his revenge in the very next ball after being hit for a six as he gets Romario Shepherd for 9 runs to give West Indies another blow.

Wicket! Yuzvendra Chahal gets his first wicket of the match as he gets Shai Hope who was heading for a well-made half-century. West Indies lose their fifth wicket.

Shai Hope looking strong at the crease despite a short batting collapse as he aims for a rebuild with Shimron Hetmyer alongside. The duo has to put up an effective partnership in order to post a match-winning total.

Wicket! And there's another one. Kuldeep is looking on song as he gets another wicket in the over. It's a batting collapse for the hosts with skipper Powell's dismissal. They go four down inside seven overs. 

Wicket! Kuldeep Yadav continues to shine as he removes dangerous Pooran in his very first over. West Indies are in trouble as they lose their third wicket. 

Wicket! Arshdeep does the magic again as he dismisses Brandon King for 18. Windies are looking dangerous with the bat but are losing wickets as well.

Arshdeep takes no time as he strikes early to remove dangerous-looking Kyle Mayes in his very first over. Mayers departs for 17 runs in just 7 balls.

Kyle Mayers attacked Axar Patel as he smashed a six and a four to take 14 runs off the first over.

"Coming to the ground dimensions, behind me, it is a 65 metre hit, the opposite is 67 metres, and down the ground is 70 metres. The pitch looks like an absolute beauty, there isn’t any grass on the surface but it has a nice sheen to it. The average score on this ground is 165. We are in for a high-scoring game," reckons Samuel Badree, in his pitch report.

"We are gonna bat first, looks a very good surface, we want to put up some runs on the board and try to defend it. I think it is an opportunity for us to win a series against a big team like India and the boys are excited about it. Jason Holder is in, Shai Hope comes in for Johnson Charles, Odean Smith comes in for Roston Chase."

"We would have batted first us as well, I don’t think much will change. I think the boys turned up very well, they were excited and at the same time, they realized that they have to show some more hunger as well. Everyone chipped in, the bowlers did the job and then Tilak and Surya came in and closed the game with the bat. Yeah, same team. Our spinners have that kind of wicket-taking knack, they are aggressive with their intent as well, which I like. For us, we keep things simple, and we don't let the intensity drop."

West Indies have won the toss and they'll be batting first in the fourth T20I.

India had handed the T20I debut to Yashasvi Jaiswal, resting Ishan Kishan. But for the third successive match, the opening pair failed to impress, making just six runs. Jaiswal got out to pacer Obed McCoy in the first over itself.

“I think the Indian team might be concerned about Shubman Gill already because he hasn't managed to score big for quite a long time. He has not done well against the left-arm spinners on a few occasions, too. The pitches are a bit challenging, no doubt, but if you’re playing at the international level, you'll encounter different types of surfaces. It’s not like Indian pitches will always be the same, allowing you to play big shots through the line. But, I feel the Indian team has decided that Shubman (Gill) will be opening the innings with Rohit Sharma in the future.” 

- Yuzvendra Chahal is five wickets away from becoming the first Indian, and eighth overall, to get 100 T20I wickets

- Johnson Charles has a good record at the venue. In T20Is here, he has a strike rate of 152.94. In CPL games, he has struck at 158.65.

"Very important (to win). We spoke as a group that these three games will be exciting. Two losses or two wins do not change the long-term plans. We have to show we are ready when it comes to such (must-win) games."

Suryakumar Yadav was on song in the last game in Guyana as he smashed 83 runs in just 44 balls to help his team clinch a seven-wicket win to register a comeback in the series. His innings included 10 fours and four sixes as he looked in sublime touch after a rough patch in ODIs.

Having already 1-2 down in the series, Hardik Pandya's side needs a victory in the 4th match in Florida to make it 2-2 and keep the series alive. On the other hand, a win will promise a series win for the hosts as they were the better side to win the first two games to make it 2-0 before India made a comeback in the third game.
