It required a clinical effort from Team India to bounce back from consecutive defeats and they did exactly that in the 3rd T20I against West Indies in Providence Stadium on Tuesday. Swashbuckling batter Suryakumar Yadav found support in Tilak Varma as India defeated West Indies by 7 wickets to remain alive in the 5-match T20I series.

Suryakumar, who made a roaring comeback with a 44-ball 83 stitched an 87-run partnership along with Tilak Varma who remained on 49 not-out as captain Hardik Pandya finished the match with a 'maximum'.

However, fans did not take this 'act' from Pandya lightly as they targeted captain Hardik Pandya and termed it "pathetic and shameless" to deny the youngster a well-deserved second consecutive fifty in the series. Check out the reactions here:

Hardik also got bashed for not sending wicketkeeper batter Sanju Samson at number five and instead promoting himself up the order. See reactions:

Suryakumar was full of praise for Tilak after the match. "We (himself and Tilak) have batted together for a long time, we both understand how each other bats and the way he batted, it gave me a lot of confidence. It was a great innings from him (Tilak) at the other end," he said after collecting his Player of the Match award.
