India restricted the hosts to 159/6 in their 20 overs with Washington Sundar picking up three wickets for 15 runs while Avesh Khan took two wickets.
With this win, India scripted history as they became the first team in the world to reach 150 wins in the shortest format.

Having played their first-ever T20I match way back in 2006 which they won against South Africa, the journey of the Indian team has witnessed so many ups and downs in this format over the years.
The Men in Blue set up the tone with a title victory in the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup, which they won in South Africa under MS Dhoni's captaincy.
India made it to the final of the 2014 T20 WC and semi-final in the 2016 and 2022 editions before clinching their second title this year.
The Rohit Sharma-led Indian team ended the 17-year-long wait for their second T20 WC trophy as they remained unbeaten throughout the T20 World Cup 2024.
The Men in Blue clinched eight victories in the tournament including the thrilling win in the final against South Africa in Barbados.
Currently, India stand in the second position in the T20I rankings whereas Australia are placed at the top.
"Definitely it feels very good, it was a crucial game for us, the way we started with the bat and ball was good," Indian skipper Shubman Gill said after the victory over Zimbabwe.
