India women's cricket team vs Ireland women's cricket team 2nd ODI match:
India's women's cricket team scripted history during their 2nd ODI match against Ireland women at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot on Sunday, January 12.
India recorded their highest-ever total in ODI history, scoring 370/5 in their 50 overs after being put into bat first. They surpassed the previous record of 358/2 which they also scored against Ireland way back in 2017. Deepti Sharma (188) and Punam Raut (109) smashed respective centuries in that match which India won by 249 runs in Potchefstroom.
Jemimah Rodrigues was India's top run-getter on Sunday as she smashed her maiden ODI century, scoring 102 runs in 91 balls on the back of 12 boundaries.

Apart from Jemimah, skipper Smriti Mandhana (73), Pratika Rawal (67) and Harleen Deol (89) scored crucial half-centuries.
India were off to a remarkable start as Mandhana and Pratika stitched a 156-run opening stand before the hosts lost both batters in quick succession.
Jemimah and Harleen then came up with a brilliant recovery and smashed the Ireland bowlers all around the ground. The duo put up a magnificent 183-run stand for the third wicket and took their team close to a mammoth total.
Harleen missed out on her century as she was dismissed for 89 runs by Arlene Kelly in the 48th over. She smashed 12 fours during her sensational knock.
"This means a lot. It's been a long wait to get this hundred. More than anything else, I'm just glad that the team gave me a role at number four and I was able to live up to that. Today the most important thing for me was to be there till the 50th over. Because I know that getting runs is not a problem. I'm very good at getting runs. But it is just that feel of batting till the end - that was the thought process, and I'm glad I was able to do that. The hundred just came along," Jemimah said at the innings break.
For Ireland, Orla Prendergast and Arlene Kelly picked up two wickets each whereas Georgina Dempsey found a scalp as well.
