India vs South Africa Final, ICC Women's World Cup 2025: India and South Africa are set to face off in the final of the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 at the DY Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai on Sunday. The winner of the match will lift their maiden World Cup title. It will also be the first Women’s Cricket World Cup final that will not feature Australia or England.
This will be India's third appearance in the World Cup final. The Women in Blue lost to Australia by 98 runs in the 2005 final and suffered a dramatic late collapse in 2017 against England to lose by nine runs. They made it to the summit clash in an emphatic fashion, outclassing the defending champions, Australia, in the semifinal. They pulled off the record run-chase of 339 runs on the back of a memorable batting effort from Jemimah Rodrigues.

She ended up playing an unbeaten innings of 127 to guide India home. Harmanpreet Singh contributed with a vital 89.
On the other hand, it will be the third outing in the final for South Africa. Laura Wolvaardt’s commanding 169 powered them to 319/7 against England in their semi-final before Marizanne Kapp’s career-best 5/20 sealed a 125-run win.
