WCL 2025 Semi Final Match: Due to the political tensions between India and Pakistan, a T20 tournament has grabbed the limelight, where the cricket teams of these two nations are participating. Post their match, which was called off, the arch-rivals are set to face each other again during the semifinal.

Pakistan Champions reached the semis by being the table toppers after winning four group stage matches and one match ending in no result, whereas the Yuvraj Singh-led side had finished at the fourth position by winning just one match and losing three.

Will India-Pakistan Semifinal Clash Be Cancelled?

Due to the hype around an Indian side that had veteran players like Yuvraj Singh, Shikhar Dhawan, and Suresh Raina locking horns with Pakistan, the group stage match was abandoned. Dhawan and Rain took to their official social media account and revealed their withdrawal, and due to the match being called off, both teams shared a point each.

Now, the question remains, will the semifinal match be called off too?

Considering how important this match would be, it's highly unlikely that the match would be abandoned.

But, Kaamil Khan, who is the owner of Pakistan Champions, had reckoned that the schedule of the tournament would remain unaffected and that a match between these two teams could be avoided.

“As for the semifinals and final, we’re currently saying that if we make it to the semifinals, there will be four teams, and we will avoid matches between the two teams," Kaamil told GeoNews.

In such a scenario, India's champions will either lock horns with Australia or South Africa during the semifinal clash.

What If It’s India vs Pakistan in the WCL Final?

The organisers will get another headache if India or Pakistan are in the respective semifinal clashes, and then they might face each other during the final.

Will the summit clash be abandoned, and will both teams be declared as joint winners? Or whichever team finishes as the table toppers would be declared as the winner.
