Before India's prime off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin announced his retirement from international cricket, a priceless moment was captured inside the Indian dressing room that sparked a lot of talks among people.
In the visuals, Ashwin was seen having an emotional conversation with his teammate Virat Kohli. And sometime later, it turned out to be that bittersweet occasion where the two greats shared the dressing room for the last time as teammates-with this bringing to an end yet another remarkable chapter in their careers.
The veteran spinner stunned the cricketing world by announcing that the Brisbane Test would be his last appearance in international cricket, bringing a sudden end to his illustrious career.
India's batting talisman Virat Kohli revealed that he was left emotional when Ashwin shared the news of his retirement with him.
Kohli paid a heart-touching tribute as he lauded his most successful Indian off-spinner Ashwin. He also extended his to Ashwin best for what lies next in cricket, apart from attaching the touching farewell from his long-time teammate.

The ex-India skipper lauded Ravichandran Ashwin for his priceless contributions of match-winning his precious Test match victories for India and said the off-spinner would be 'remembered as a legend of Indian cricket'.
"I have played with you for 14 years and when you told me today you're retiring, it made me a bit emotional and the flashbacks of all those years playing together came to me. I've enjoyed every bit of the journey with you ash, your skill and match-winning contributions to Indian cricket are second to none and you will always and always be remembered as a legend of Indian cricket," Virat Kohli said in his post on X.

"Wish you nothing but the best in your life with your family and everything else that it unfolds for you. With massive respect and lots of love to you and your close ones. Thanks for everything buddy," he added.
Ashwin's phenomenal ascent to the top of Test cricket was very much under the captaincy of Kohli, during which time he took 293 wickets from 55 Tests, featuring 21 five-wicket hauls.
