India vs Australia 3rd T20I Match: Fans were quick to react after spotting Sara Tendulkar in the attendance during the third T20I match between India and Australia at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart on Sunday. A hilarious instance involving Sara and Shubman Gill went viral on social media.

In the sixth over of India's innings, Gill hit a nice flick over mid-wicket for a boundary against Nathan Ellis, and the cameras immediately panned to Sara in the crowd, seemingly enjoying the match. On the very next ball, Ellis trapped Gill in front with an excellent slower one that outfoxed the India vice-captain completely.

Gill was dismissed for 15 runs, marking his another low score in the ongoing series. He was dismissed for just 5 runs in the previous game in Melbourne.

However, her presence in Hobart while her father was seen in the stands during the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 final between India and South Africa in Navi Mumbai has just added fuel to the speculations.

Interestingly, Sara is also an ambassador for Australian Tourism.

India bounce back in T20I series

India ended up defeating Australia by 5 wickets in the third T20I to bounce back in the three-match series, with Australia still 2-1 ahead. The Men in Blue chased down the 187-run target in 18.3 overs on the back of Washington Sundar's unbeaten knock of 49 runs in just 23 balls.

He smashed three fours and four sixes, stitching a 43-run stand with Jitesh Sharma (22* off 13) for the sixth wicket. The fourth T20I match is scheduled to be played at the Bill Pippen Oval in Gold Coast on Thursday.
