India vs Australia 4th T20I Match: Suryakumar Yadav was seen losing his cool during the fourth T20I match between India and Australia at the Carrara Oval in Queensland on Thursday. He was furious with Shivam Dube after the all-rounder gave away an unnecessary boundary during Australia's run chase.

The incident took place after the final delivery of the 12th over as Dube bowled a short delivery to Marcus Stoinis and allowed the new batter to free his arm as he swatted the ball away for a four over backward point.

The shackles were broken after three impressive deliveries from the medium pacer, who had conceded a six off the second delivery to Tim David before removing the danger man off the next. Suryakumar was seen shouting at Dube while venting his frustration at the poor delivery as soon as the boundary was hit. The over ended as Dube took an important wicket but also conceded 11 runs with Australia 95/4 in 12 overs and needing 73 runs to win off 48 balls.

However, India ended up bagging a convincing win by 49 runs to take a 2-1 lead in the five-match series. They bowled Australia out for 119 in 18.2 overs with Washington Sundar taking three wickets in eight deliveries, while Axar Patel and Shivam Dube finished with two wickets each.

"167 on this ground is definitely a good score because the quality bowling we have, the spinners, the fast bowlers…I trust them and the whole team trusts our bowlers," Dube told reporters after the match.

"Definitely it’s a T20 game and any of the batter can come and smack but on this ground where the side boundaries are big, we had planned it very nicely and we had confidence that we can stop them," he added.

On the other hand, Suryakumar himself has been dealing with his disappointing batting form lately. He scored 20 runs in 10 balls on the back of two sixes. However, the former Indian spinner has come out in support of Suryakumar, saying that his contributions have an impact that goes beyond numbers. "Ten balls for 20 from Suryakumar Yadav was extremely valuable. I always think in T20 cricket, 10 balls for 20 at a 200 strike rate is more valuable. Even today, Abhishek and Shubman had a decent partnership at the top, so Surya came in and gave that amazing impetus and momentum. I would always think 10 balls for 20 is far more valuable than a strike rate of less than 125, 120, or 130 in a T20 game, unless, of course, you are chasing a total," Ashwin said on his YouTube channel.

"If you are chasing and players are going all out, one side has to play in double gear. But today, everyone knew that 160 was a good score. The way Shubman paced the innings was the way he had to play, and he did that. So credit where it’s due, but I am happy with Surya’s 10-ball-20. What he could do, he did," Ashwin added.
