IND vs AUS 2nd T20I: India skipper Suryakumar Yadav was seen praising Josh Hazlewood after he helped the hosts win the 2nd T20I on Friday. He also lauded Abhishek Sharma for fighting a lone battle.

Hazlewood had bowled in 4 overs and had taken three wickets and given away 13 runs, and helped the team skittle the visitors out for 125 runs. Talking about his performance, Suryakumar admitted that he was brilliant and they had a hard time making a comeback after losing 4 wickets.

"Absolutely. I mean, the way he bowled in the power play was just sensational. If you are 4 down in the power play, it's very hard to recover from that. Credit goes to him," Suryakumar told broadcasters in the post-match presentation.

EXPECTING BIG THINGS FROM ABHISHEK

Abhishek was the only batter who could play fearlessly. He had scored a gritty knock of 68 runs off 37 balls and helped the visitors post a target of 125 runs. Suryakumar Yadav had lauded the youngster and said that it was good that he was playing his natural game.

"I mean, he has been doing his job for a long time now. It's good that he is not changing his natural game. I hope he sticks to it as it's working really well for him," he added.

Talking about the highlights of the match, he revealed that he wants the players to bat like they did in the series opener.

"I think we need to bat really well, like we did in the first game. If we bat first, then we need to put nice runs on the board and then come out and defend," he added.

The visitors will aim to bounce back when they lock horns with the host for the third T20I in Hobart.
