IND vs AUS 3rd Test: Australia's star batter Travis Head scored his second consecutive Test hundred of the ongoing Test series against India at the Gabba and then survived a nervy dropped catch after lunch to torment the Indian bowlers some more. The incident occurred in Nitish Kumar Reddy's over, where Head was batting at 112 and received a leading edge as he tried to play the flick shot and the ball went past the bat towards Indian skipper Rohit Sharma's left, who was standing at wide slip.
He saw the ball late but still tried to take the catch as he dove to his left. But then he dropped the catch.

After Rohit dropped the catch, Smith and Head built a brilliant partnership of 200 runs for the fourth wicket, and with that Smith also scored his 33rd Test hundred and bounced back to form brilliantly. This was his 10th Test hundred against India.
Jasprit Bumrah then ended the 241-run partnership as he produced an outside edge to Smith, who got out after scoring 101 runs. At the same time, it was the Indian skipper, who took the catch while standing at the slips.
Bumrah took his third wicket as he had taken the wickets of openers Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney earlier in the day.
Head at the same time continued torturing the Indian bowlers and scored 150 runs off 157 balls, in which he had smashed 18 fours.
This was Head's third Test hundred of the seven that he has played against India and also put an end to an embarrassing record of being dismissed on three consecutive first-ball ducks.
Jasprit Bumrah did take his wicket eventually as Rishabh Pant caught him behind after scoring 152 runs.
