Mitchell Starc rattles India in Adelaide
Travis Head was adjudged as the Player of the Match award but it was Mitchell Starc, who grabbed all the limelight for his match-winning spell during the second Test match in Adelaide. Starc did play a huge role in helping his team win the match by 10 wickets. He dismissed Yashasvi Jaiswal on the first ball itself.
He registered figures of 14.1-2-48-6 and helped the hosts skittle the visitors out for just 180 runs during the first innings. Starc wreaked havoc during the second innings as well, where he dismissed batters like Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant. During both the innings, Starc proved why he is considered one of the world's best bowlers.
The Pat Cummins-led side lost the series opener by 295 runs but bounced back by winning the second Test match and has leveled the series by 1-1. It would be interesting to see whether they could repeat their heroics in Brisbane.
