India vs Bangladesh, Asia Cup 2025: Bangladesh won the toss and opted to field first against India in the Asia Cup 2025 Super Fours at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, September 24.

Bangladesh have suffered a major blow as they are playing without their regular captain Litton Das. Jaker Ali came out at the toss and is the stand-in skipper. Litton, who has been Bangladesh's star performer in the format and in the ongoing tournament as well, sustained an injury during the training session ahead of the India clash.

They came up with multiple changes in their lineup with an aim to maintain their winning run and inch closer to the final qualification.

"We would like to bowl first. He (Litton) got injured during a practice session and unfortunately missed out on this crucial game. I am excited and looking forward to this game. We are doing really well as a team, and we will try to give our best. We will try to restrict them and chase it down. The surface looks pretty good to bat on. We have got four changes," Jaker Ali said at the toss.

On the other hand, India have been in remarkable form in the ongoing tournament and have won all four of their matches so far. They fielded an unchanged lineup, and a win today will seal their place in the final.

"We are happy doing it. We have got what we wanted in the last 4-5 games, and we are happy to bat first. We have to follow the good things that we have been doing, and the results will take care of themselves. The boys have done their bit; it is part of the game (dropped catches). Much pleasant (weather). Same team," Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav said.
