India vs England 3rd Test: The ongoing Test between England and India at Lord's has turned into a cliffhanger, setting up a captivating final day on Day5. It all started with India, led by Shubman Gill, lost four crucial wickets late on Day 4 while chasing 193 runs, leaving them needing 135 more runs with six wickets remaining.
Earlier, Washington Sundar delivered an inspired bowling performance, finishing with an impressive 4/22 from 12.1 overs to help India skittle England for just 192 in their second innings. This was a crucial turnaround after England had looked set for a significant lead.
Jasprit Bumrah, rested from India's big win at Edgbaston, proved pivotal on his return. He took a five-wicket haul in England’s first innings, bowling them out for 387. In response, India matched that total, thanks to a patient century from KL Rahul (107), and strong contributions from Rishabh Pant (74) and Ravindra Jadeja (72). Bumrah then added two more scalps in England's second innings, taking his match haul to seven wickets, ensuring India's chase remained manageable despite the challenging conditions.
Adding a light moment amidst the tension, a video of Bumrah's reaction to a fan's "request" for a wicket is being widely shared on social media, showcasing the engagement between players and supporters in this high-stakes contest.
“Jasprit, I want wicket!" the fan can be heard saying.
Bumrah's reaction was 'cheeky' to say the least as it left everyone in 'laughs' as he gestured the fan to do the honours. Check out the video here:

Ravindra Jadeja 'Denying' England At Lord's
England claimed four wickets to close on a famous win with India struggling on 112-8, still 80 runs behind the hosts at lunch on a tense final day of an enthralling third test at Lord's on Monday.
Jofra Archer bowled Rishabh Pant, Ben Stokes trapped KL Rahul lbw and Archer brilliantly caught and bowled Washington Sundar to leave India reeling at 84-7.
Ravindra Jadeja and Nitish Kumar Reddy (13) defended stubbornly, however, before Chris Woakes had the seam-bowling all-rounder caught by wicketkeeper Jamie Smith just before the interval.
Currently, Jadeja is unbeaten as he completed his half century to deny England a win. On the non-striker's end is Mohammed Siraj who came after Bumrah got out to Stokes during the 2nd session.
At Tea, India need 30 runs more to win the match, whereas England just need a wicket to claim victory.
