India National Cricket Team vs England Cricket Team:

Sanju Samson delighted the Eden Gardens crowd with his hard-hitting batting prowess as he ripped apart English pacer Gus Atkinson to provide India with much-needed momentum in the first T20I on Wednesday.

In a blistering display, Samson hammered four boundaries and a six in a single over, forcing Atkinson to concede a staggering 22 runs.

As India chased a target of 131 runs for victory, Atkinson bowled the third over, which proved to be a costly one. Samson took advantage of Atkinson's offerings, smashing four boundaries and one six, with only one ball being a dot, as he launched a fierce attack on the English pacer.

Samson's attacking display started off with a bang as he hit the first two balls of the over to the fence. Atkinson succeeded in briefly breaking the rhythm with a dot ball, but Samson was not deterred as he powerfully drove the fourth ball over the ropes for a six, and then finished off the over with two boundaries on the last two balls respectively.
