IND vs ENG 5th Test Day 3 Weather Report: The fifth and the last Test match between India and England has been rain-induced, but has also entertained the fans of both teams. Batters have mostly dominated this series, but it's the bowlers who have done the same at the Oval.
Just 64 overs were being bowled on the first day as the groundsmen had to cover the ground continuously. On Day 2, Gus Atkinson and the other bowlers skittled the visitors out for 224 runs. Atkinson took a five-wicket haul and conceded 33 runs as the Shubman Gill-led side went from 213/6 to 224 all-out. The Ollie Pope-led side ended their innings on a high as openers Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley took the Indian bowlers to the cleaners. They stitched a gritty partnership of 92 runs, and then Akash Deep took Duckett's wicket and also wrapped his hands around Duckett's shoulders and gave him a fiery send-off.
During the second session, the Indian bowlers helped the side make a brilliant comeback as Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj took a four-wicket haul apiece. The host also took a lead, but the Men in Blue skittled them out for 247 runs. Yashasi Jaiswal then smashed a brilliant half-century and helped the visitors end the day at 75/2 at stumps and also took a 52-run lead.
