IND vs ENG 5th Test: Tensions have continued to flare during the fifth Test match at the Oval as the visitors are trying to level the series, and the intensity of the match has only grown stronger. On the fourth day, Yashasvi Jaiswal was seen getting involved in a heated exchange with Ben Duckett and enquired as to why he wasn't playing his attacking shots. “Come on, I want to see your shots. Play the sweep, reverse sweep. This is not your game,” Jaiswal was heard as saying on the stump mic while fielding.

Duckett didn't stop and gave him a befitting reply and said, “Why should I listen to you?”. India skipper Shubma Gill also interfered and reckoned that they will try to pile the pressure on the host by using both their bowling and heated exchanges.

Duckett had smashed a few reverse sweeps during the first innings and was quite successful, but was immediately dismissed by Akash Deep when he tried to play the same shot again.

These mind games have only intensified the Ollie Pope-led side's chase of 374 runs. They were 50/1at stumps on the third day as Mohammed Siraj had dismissed Zak Crawley by bowling a brilliant yorker on the last ball of the day. Ben Duckett began Day 4 on his unbeaten knock of 34 runs and had scored 21 more runs, and thus got out after scoring 55 runs in Prasidh Krishna's over.
