KL Rahul smashes a six over long-on as India beat New Zealand by 4 wickets to take 1-0 lead in the series. Despite India losing the plot in the last 10 overs, cameos of Harshit Rana and KL Rahul helped the side bail out from a difficult situation.

This was banged in short from Zakary Foulkes, cramping Virat Kohli, who was batting on 90, for room as he tried to play it on the leg side. The ball went over Kohli's head, but New Zealand decided to test their luck for a caught-behind dismissal. UltraEdge revealed that Kohli's bat made no contact with the ball. India took a sigh of relief.,

Kristian Clarke has done some sort of damage control for New Zealand after Adithya Ashok leaked 15 in the last over. The pacer conceded just four runs in this one. India need 110 off the remaining 108 balls.

Big relief for India as the Kiwi opener falls, Harshit Rana delivers the goods, ending Nicholls' fine knock at 62! 

Nicholls cruises to his 15th ODI half-century, chipping a single off Sundar's delivery in 60 balls. Conway joins the party, bringing up his own fifty as NZ openers stamp their authority.

Nicholls and Conway stitch together a solid 50-run stand, keeping India's bowlers at bay. 

The Kiwi openers are in cruise control! Nicholls and Conway are stringing runs together with a mix of smart singles and timely boundaries. 

Siraj sparks into life, pinning NZ back with a cracker of an opening over. Conway and Nicholls play it safe, settling for a singleton.

We've been here for a little bit of time now. It's a big series for us. First of all, every time we play for New Zealand, that's a proud moment.
