IND vs PAK Final Asia Cup 2025: India captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and opted to bowl against traditional foe Pakistan in the high-voltage clash of Asia Cup 2025 Final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on Sunday.

India dealt with a big blow heading into the summit clash as star all-rounder Hardik Pandya was ruled out. Suryakumar-led India have tweaked their lineup for the high-pressure final, with pace ace Jasprit Bumrah and Rinku Singh coming in for Harshit Rana and Hardik Pandya.

Pakistan retained the same eleven from the last match. 

Just like previous times, India skipper Suryakumar Yadav and Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha once again avoided the customary handshake at the toss.

Suryakumar opted out of the trophy photoshoot with Salman; instead, the Pakistan captain posed solo with the trophy.

A historic encounter awaits as India and Pakistan meet in the Asia Cup final for the first time in 41 years. India march into the summit clash on the back of an unbeaten run, supported by two wins over Pakistan, giving Men in Blue a psychological advantage.

Speaking after winning the toss, Suryakumar Yadav said, "We are looking to bowl first. It looks like a good wicket. The wicket gets better under lights. We have been batting well first but we would like to chase today. The groundsmen have done a terrific job with the wickets here and it will stay the same. The brand of cricket we have been playing for the last 5-6 games is pretty good and we would like to continue that. Unfortunately, Hardik misses out due to a niggle. Bumrah, Dube and Rinku come in."

Pakistan skipper Salman Agha said, "Definitely happy to bat first. We are very excited and looking forward to this game. We haven't played a perfect game and hopefully we play one today. Same side. We have been playing on these pitches for a while and it will play the same."
