IND vs SA 3rd ODI: India's star batter Virat Kohli scored 302 runs, whereas Rohit Sharma scored 146 runs, which includes two fifties in the three-match ODI series against South Africa. But none of them could win the Impact Player of the Series award. It was Kuldeep Yadav who won this medal.

Kuldeep, too, was one of the star performers for the host in this series. He had featured in all the matches and had taken nine wickets. He registered match-winning figures in the first match in Ranchi and then took four wickets in the last match in Vishakhapatnam.

And then in the second match, which was won by the Tema Bavuma-led side as they chased the mammoth target of 359 runs, Kuldeep then took just one wicket.

The BCCI took to the official X account and shared a video where India's assistant coach Ryan Ten Doeschate was seen giving the Impact player of the series award to Kuldeep.

He was the highest wicket-taker in this series and now has taken 191 wickets in ODIs, and he will next be seen in action in the five-match T20I series against the same opponent.

In this series, Kuldeep might achieve the milestone of taking 100 wickets in the shortest format. Till now, he has taken 88 wickets after playing in 49 T20Is. Kuldeep, who took 17 wickets in the Asia Cup, is able to take 12 wickets in this series; then he will surpass Arshdeep Singh as the fastest Indian bowler to take 100 wickets in this format.

Arshdeep is the only Indian bowler to take 100 wickets, as he achieved this milestone after playing in 64 matches.

If Kuldeep is able to take 12 wickets in 3 T20Is, then he will surpass Rashid Khan's tally of becoming the fastest bowler to take 100 wickets in this format.

Rahid, who has taken the most wickets in this format, took his 100th wicket in his 53rd match.
