IND vs SA 1st T20I: India's star pacer Arshdeep Singh has revealed that Jasprit Bumrah should be a part of his Instagram reels, just like Virat Kohli. He has been quite active on his social media accounts, where all the Indian players have been a part of his funny reels post matches. Kohli, too, was part of one such reel when the host had beaten South Africa in the third ODI, and that reel had gone viral as Kohli was seen taking a dig at him.

In the first T20I, Arshdeep was joined by Bumrah in the 100 T20I wickets club after he dismissed Dewald Brevis. In the post-match presentation, Arshdeep was asked how Bumrah can be a part of his Instagram reels.

Arshdeep hilariously said that Bumrah needs to improve his bowling more and take wickets, and only then will he include him in his reels.

"Jassi bhai still needs to take some more wickets to feature on my Instagram. So, if he keeps working on that and keeps taking wickets, he might feature on my Instagram as well," Arshdeep was quoted as saying on JioHotstar.

Both these bowlers took two wickets each and helped the host beat South Africa by a huge margin of 101 runs, and are leading the series 1-0.

BUMRAH: THE GENTLE SENIOR

Arshdeep praised Bumrah for being a good senior as he is never rude to the junior. He also revealed that since both of them hail from Punjab, it is one of the reasons why they have hit it off so well.

"The relation with him is very nice. I'd say he is a gentle senior. He's never very harsh on any of the youngsters coming in, and he's very polite with them. So I'd say the relation is very nice, and we are Punjabi as well, so it's really easy to gel with him," he added.

Both Bumrah and Arshdeep have played together in 14 matches in the shortest format so far, taking 14 wickets between them. Arshdeep admits that the batters try to go big in his overs, knowing they won't be able to score much, and that's how he takes wickets.

"It's great to bowl alongside him, because players mostly look to attack my bowling, and I'm always in the game to take some wickets because, even on good balls, they try to hit me for runs because they know, on the other side, Bumrah is not going to give an easy run. So, it's a benefit for me as well, and I love it," he concluded.

India will lock horns with South Africa for the second T20I on Thursday.
