IND vs UAE Asia Cup 2025: India skipper Suryakumar Yadav was heard as saying 'don't look' to Muhammad Waseem after he had thrown the coin before their tournament opener against the United Arab Emirates in Dubai on Wednesday. Suryakumar Yadav had won the toss and chose to bowl first.

Post winning the toss, Surya reckoned that it was a fresh surface and, since it was humid as well, said that dew might play a role in the second innings.

“We’ll bowl first. Looks like a nice fresh wicket. Humid today, and it might be dewy later. If we get an opportunity, we’re flexible to do anything, but today we want to bowl. We came here early, had 3-4 good practice sessions, and also a day off," he said.
