IND U19 vs UAE U19: India U19's star bowlers Yudhajit Guha and Chetan Sharma gave India U19 the much-needed breakthroughs in their must-win clash against UAE U19 of the ongoing continental tournament in Sharjah. Bowling with the new ball, the two pacers took a wicket apiece in their first over as UAE captain Aayan Afzal Khan won the toss and chose to bat first.
Yudhajit Guha dismissed UAE opener Aryan Saxena during the fifth over, whereas his fellow teammate Sharma took the wicket of Yayan Kiran Rai for a duck and left the hosts reeling at 17/2.
Indian paceman jolts UAE's top order
India U19 pacer Yudhajit Guha dismissed UAE's star opener Aryan Saxena for nine runs by bowling by bowling a peachy inswinger in the fifth over. After that over, his compatriot Chetan Sharma got Yayin Rai out in front of the stumps for a first-ball duck.

And then left-arm spinner Hardik Raj took the wicket of Ethan D'souza, who scored 17 runs, and UAE skipper Aayan Afzal Khan for five runs. Leg-spinner KP Karthikeya took the important wicket of well-set UAE opener Akshat Rai, who had scored a gritty knock of 26 runs till the 18th over.
The ongoing match, which is considered a virtual quarterfinal for both teams, is a must-win for them as they both are eyeing a spot in the semifinals. The Men in Blue under the captaincy of Mohamed Amaan, lost their tournament opener to arch-nemesis Pakistan by 43 runs.
But then they made a brilliant comeback after thrashing Japan U19 by 211 runs and a victory against the UAE will help them qualify for the next stage. As far as Group B is concerned, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have already qualified for the semifinals.
