On Day 3 of the Brisbane Test at The Gabba, Australia came out domestically on fire, unleashing a terrifying attack which had the Indian top order reeling.

It was Mitchell Starc who did the early damage, claiming two vital wickets in quick succession to send the Indian batting lineup into disarray.

One of the bright points of the fantastic morning was Mitchell Marsh's astonishing catch for the dismissal of Shubman Gill which had the Gabba crowd roaring.

Starc did wonders for this game, striking gold on the second ball of the innings. While he was first hit to the boundary, Starc made an impressive comeback, getting opener Yashasvi Jaiswal out. A slip catch that was routine by Mitchell Marsh sealed Jaiswal's fate, with just a 4 next to his name going back to pack for a short trip.

Starc dismantled the Indian batting order. His second scalp fell in the form of Shubman Gill. Gill was sent back by a brilliant piece of fielding from Marsh. As soon as Gill fell victim to the diving catch, India found themselves at 4/2 in their very first overs.

Bowling over the wicket, Starc released a full-length delivery that dipped outside the off stump and swung away from Shubman Gill. The India batter had an overly ambitious drive on it, guided by the lure of that delivery, and paid dearly for playing a shot with something away from his body.

That unfortunate drive from Gill led to an outside edge that was caught magnificently at slips by Mitchell Marsh diving to his right to effect the dismissal.
