India vs Australia Border Gavaskar Trophy: India captain Rohit Sharma is facing uncertainty regarding his participation in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy's first Test against Australia in Perth, citing personal reasons.

Rohit expressed caution about his availability, saying he has his "fingers crossed" about joining the team. As India prepares to embark on a challenging five-Test series in Australia, beginning on November 22 in Perth, Rohit's potential absence could have significant implications for the team's strategy and performance.

"Not sure whether I will be going, fingers crossed," Rohit said after India's 25-run loss in the third Test to New Zealand in Mumbai.
