IND vs ENG T20I: Ex-England Kevin Pietersen has emphasized an important mistake in Brendon McCullum's style of coaching. During an interaction on X, Pietersen revealed that one of the biggest reasons behind Bazball's failure in India is that an ultra-aggressive approach will always fail against brilliant spin-bowling.

Brendon McCullum has visited India for the second time in a year. Last year he had come with the Test squad, where Ben Stokes was the skipper. Post winning the series opener in Hyderabad, they lost four consecutive matches and lost the series by 4-1. They were left clueless against Indian fast bowlers and R Ashwin.

And during his second visit as the white-ball coach of England, he is once again on the wrong side as the visitors have lost two matches during the five-match T20I series.

During both the T20I matches, England was once again seen struggling against spinners Varun Chakravarthy and Axar Patel and that's why they lost the first two T20Is.

"Baseball doesn’t work against high-quality spin consistently! There is an art to playing spin in the subcontinent," Pietersen was quoted as saying on X in a Q and A session.

Both India and England have left for Rajkot, where the third T20I will be held. Post the T20I series, they will lock horns for a three-match ODI series before the Champions Trophy.

England will be playing all their group matches in Pakistan, whereas the Rohit Sharma-led will play their matches in Dubai. England has been put in a group that has teams like Australia, South Africa, and Afghanistan, whereas India has been put in a group with teams like Pakistan, New Zealand, and Bangladesh.

The Champions Trophy will start on 19th February, whereas the summit clash will be held on March 8. The Men in Blue will face arch-rival Pakistan on February 23.
