India National Cricket Team vs New Zealand National Cricket Team Match Scorecard: In the 2nd ODI between India and New Zealand, captain Michael Bracewell won the toss and invited India to bat first on Wednesday. Rajkot, which has witnessed some high-scoring encounters in the past, is likely to see another one unfolding with swashbuckling batters in both teams.
Who replaces Washington Sundar?
All-rounder Washington Sundar, who sustained an injury during the Vadodara ODI, has been ruled out of the series. Ayush Badoni was named a replacement, but the team management has picked Nitish Kumar Reddy to feature in the game.
On the other hand, New Zealand have also made one change in the line-up with Jayden Lennox replacing Adithya Ashok. Lennox is a left-arm spinner who makes his debut in the match.

Rajkot Pitch Report:As per the official broadcaster, this is an incredible pitch to bat on. Short boundaries on both sides will help the batters. "The new ball will swing a little bit, it'll move a touch. I'd be tempted to set straighter fields. You want the batters to hit straight; don't give them anything short. Have a theory on being really straight and having those catching men. One of the pitches you can actually hit through the line. Variation of pace is going to be important. Not much dew here."

"Personally, I felt really good in the last game - the rhythm and fluency were there, and it’s always nice to contribute. Hopefully I can build on that and produce a big one today. The middle overs were crucial for us last time. They got off to a decent start, but the way we pulled things back - especially with the fast bowlers picking up wickets in those overs - made a big difference," Indian captain Shubman Gill said.
