India vs South Africa 1st T20I: India and South Africa will lock horns in the first T20I match at the Kingsmead in Durban on Sunday, December 10.

The Indian team will be in action across formats on their tour to South Africa which will be kicked off by a three-match T20I series.

The Men in Blue will have three different captains on the tour as Suryakumar Yadav will be leading the T20I side.

While Hardik Pandya wasn't available for selection due to an ankle injury, senior players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Jasprit Bumrah are rested for the white-ball leg.

India will be high on confidence heading into the T20I series, having recently defeated Australia 4-1 in the T20I series at home.

According to Accuweather.com, the India vs South Africa 1st T20I match could witness rain interruptions as the weather remains overcast in Durban.

There is a 55 percent chance of rainfall during the daytime which increases to 59 percent in the evening and during the match hours.

However, there is a full possibility of a match but the overs can be reduced to due to rain interruptions as there will be 100 percent cloud cover during the match.

As per the forecast on weather.com, the temperature is expected to hover around 18 degrees Celsius to 21 degrees Celsius, while the humidity is anticipated to be around 85-88 percent. The wind speed will be around 17-23 km/h during the 20-over clash.
