India vs South Africa Highlights, 3rd T20I: Abhishek, Bowlers Power India To 7-Wicket Win, Take 2-1 Lead In Series

India bowlers helped the hosts clinch a clinical 7-wicket victory in Dharamsala in the second T20I of the five-match T20I series, taking the 2-1 series lead.

Shubman Gill's innings ended prematurely as he fell for 28 runs, succumbing to Marco Jansen's clever bowling.

Abhishek Sharma's explosive innings came to an end as he lofted a shot towards extra cover, only to be caught by Aiden Markram. IND 60/1 in 5.2 ov.

Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill are putting on a fiery show. Abhishek, on 24 off 12, and Gill, unbeaten on 20 off 12, are leading the charge, having added 49 runs in just 4 overs.

 We could see another Bumrah vs Ferreira battle tonight! Bumrah had never been hit for four sixes in a single T20I inning. Ferreira smacked 17 off 6 vs Bumrah, the best strike rate for any batter vs the Indian pacer in a T20I, with six balls or more. He also smacked Bumrah for two sixes, the joint-highest for any batter in a single T20I.

SA's win vs IND in the 2nd T20I was huge as it was only India's third defeat out of 17 this year. It was also the first time India won the toss and lost since January. They had gone the whole last year with a single loss after winning toss.

Ngidi is only one wicket away from Kagiso Rabada and 13 behind SA's highest wicket-taker in T20Is, Shamsi. Ngidi has 76 T20I wickets

The series has seen a win and loss for both teams. So both sides are still on equal footing, which makes it more intense and challenging tonight! The team which wins tonight, will be able to get a foothold!

Speaking ahead of the match, India assistant coach Ten Doeschate said, "Towards the back end of the Australian tour, there were talks about freeing up a little bit, trying to not make the responsibility feel like that it is all about you, and relinquish such thoughts. We want him to play as freely as he does during the IPL."
