Sri Lanka opted to bat first against India amid rain threat in the final of the Asia Cup 2023 at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday, September 17.
The weather has played its part in this year's continental tournament with most of the matches having witnessed rain interruptions.
A similar kind of concern will remain for the summit clash as well between the two best teams of the tournament. But as weather is likely to interrupt the final too, there is a reserve day kept for this contest.
