IND-W vs ENG-W 1st ODI: Harleen Deol would have been blaming herself after she was dismissed by a run out in India's four-wicket victory against England during the series opener in Southampton on Wednesday. Deol gave the visitors a flying start while chasing a target of 259 runs, where she scored 27 runs off 43 balls, in which she had smashed four fours.

In what was considered a routine single, it became chaotic for Deol after she played the fourth ball of the 22nd over as the ball went towards mid-on. While standing at the non-striker's end, she didn't just put her bat on the ground, but her foot was also in the air as Davidson Richards had removed the bails.

The on-field umpires took the help of the third umpire as the hosts made an appeal for a run-out, and in the replay, it was shown that Deol did commit the error.
