IND-W vs WI-W 3rd ODI: India's star all-rounder Deepti Sharma had put up a match-winning performance during the third and the last ODI against West Indies in Vadodara and became the first Indian women cricketer to have taken two six-fers in 50-over format. She also has become just the second women's bowler to have achieved this milestone after South Africa's Suune Luus.

She registered brilliant figures of 6/31 and not only helped India win the match but also scripted history.

Earlier, her career-best bowling figures were 6/20 against Sri Lanka, which she had achieved way back in 2016. She has joined the elite list of Indian bowlers, who have achieved this milestone in ODIs, which has the likes of Mamatha Maben 6/10 against Sri Anka in 2004) and Jhulan Goswami 6/31) against New Zealand in 2011.

On the back of Deepti's match-winning spell, the hosts skittled the visitors out for a below-par target of 162 runs. Fast bowler Renuka Singh Thakur gave the team a flying start as she registered figures of 4/29.

West Indies' Chinelle Henry and Shemaine Campbell starred with the bat as they made significant contributions but their efforts went in vain.

The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side then chased down the target quite comprehensively and also clean-sweeped the series 3-0, where Deepti Sharma scored an unbeaten knock of 39 runs off 48 balls. She was the highest run-scorer as well after showing her bowling prowess.

The Women in Blue had already won the three-match ODI series after winning the first two matches by huge margins.

With this achievement, Deepti has taken 123 wickets after playing in ninety-eight matches, which also includes three five-fers.
