IND-W vs SA-W Final, ICC Women's World Cup 2025: Rohit Sharma was spotted in the stands at the DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai as he came to cheer for the Indian team for their ICC Women's World Cup 2025 final match against South Africa on Sunday.

Rohit was seen seated inside the corporate box, watching the high-stakes encounter alongside dignitaries and fans. Apart from Rohit, cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar was also in attendance alongside the ICC chairman Jay Shah and the Mumbai Indians owner Nita Ambani.

As soon as Rohit appeared on the giant screen, the packed home crowd erupted in cheers, with chants of "Rohit! Rohit!" echoing around the stadium.

The legendary batter was recently seen in action in the three-match ODI series against Australia. Rohit was the top run-getter in the series, which marked his return to international cricket, scoring 202 runs in three games at an average of 101 on the back of a fifty and a century. The series was played amid the speculations of Rohit's future in the ODIs, especially after his retirement from the T20I and Test formats.

Rohit's presence in the Women's World Cup final is understandable as he has a huge corner for the mega tournament in his heart. He led India to a place in the final of the ODI World Cup 2023, which the Men in Blue lost against Australia in Ahmedabad.

Amid the ongoing speculations, Rohit's availability for the ODI World Cup 2027 remains uncertain, and the veteran batter will likely next be in action during the home series against South Africa. Having led India to the T20 World Cup 2024 and ICC Champions Trophy 2025 title wins, Rohit was replaced by Shubman Gill as the team's new captain.

Talking about India's women's team, they were off to a remarkable start with the bat after losing the toss. Having made it to the final on the back of a memorable win over Australia in the semis, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side fielded an unchanged lineup.
