IND vs SA, India's Test record at Eden Gardens: India and Australia are all set to face off in a two-match Test series, which begins on November 14. The first match of the series is scheduled to be played at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata from November 14 to 18.
This will be India's third assignment in the ongoing World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle. Shubman Gill will be leading the Indian team, whereas Temba Bavuma returns to captain the Proteas. South Africa are the current WTC champions, having lifted the title with a victory over Australia in the final at Lord's earlier this year.
India would be playing their first Test at the iconic Eden Gardens in six years now, with their last encounter coming against Bangladesh, way back in November 2019, the famous pink ball Test.
