IND-W vs SA-W Final: After a brief delay due to rain in Navi Mumbai, the South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt won the toss and chose to bowl first against India in the highly anticipated Women's World Cup final at the DY Patil Sports Academy on Sunday.

Both teams are fielding the same playing XI that impressed in the semifinals earlier this week.

India's curse with the toss continues to mount, with Harmanpreet Kaur's side losing the coin flip for the eighth time in nine matches at the ongoing Women's World Cup. In fact, Harmanpreet's luck with the toss has been plunging, having won just one of her last 11 ODIs.

The team has now equalled a 43-year-old record, losing eight out of nine matches in this year's tournament, a feat that echoes from 1982.
