The final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) was entirely washed out due to the persistent at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, May 28.
The bad weather conditions and wet outfield forced the organisers to postpone the game to the reserve day at the same scheduled time on Monday, May 29.
Thousand of fans who arrived to watch the match had to return home disappointingly without even watching a single delivery being bowled.
However, several videos of fans trying their best to avoid leaving the ground are getting viral on social media.
In a video posted on Twitter, a group of spectators can be seen trying to hold a huge poster of Virat Kohli together and use it as a shelter to save themselves from rain.

Though the BCCI have allowed the fans to use the same tickets for entry inside the stadium on the reserve day, many fans decided to stay in Motera so they can come back on time for the final the next day.
Some videos and photos of fans sleeping on the floor nearby a railway station are also getting viral.
In the photos posted on Twitter, multiple fans wearing CSK jerseys could be spotted sleeping on the floor probably to reach the stadium on time to watch their hero for the last time in IPL cricket on the reserve day of the GT vs CSK final.

"The #Final of the #TATAIPL 2023 has been moved to the reserve day on 29th May - 7:30 PM IST at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. Physical tickets for today will be valid tomorrow. We request you to keep the tickets safe & intact," IPL tweeted on Sunday.
This was the first time in the history of the tournament that a final was shifted to the reserve day as it turned out to be a shocker for the fans who were very excited to watch the summit clash.
The game will start at the scheduled time of 7:30 pm on Monday with the toss to take place at 7 pm. The cut-off time for the start of Super Over is 12:56 AM.
In case, if conditions would not suitable for a super over as well then Gujarat Titans will be declared winners as they finished higher in the league stage of the tournament.
