Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have moved to the fourth spot in the points table with a comfortable eight-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL) clash on Thursday night.

RCB are placed ahead of five-time champions Mumbai Indians (-0.128) in the table due to their better net run rate while the top three spots are occupied by Gujarat Titans (18 points), Chennai Super Kings (15 points) and Lucknow Super Giants (15 points). All these teams in the league have one match to play and can reach up to 16 points barring the top three sides.

In the middle part of the table, Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings can reach up to 14 points with only one match at their disposal.

Orange cap

RCB skipper Faf du Plessis has maintained his lead at the top of the list with his 71-run knock while his teammate Virat Kohli smashed 100 to move places. He climbed to the fourth spot with 538 runs while the former Proteas batter bagged 702 runs with the eighth half-century of the season.

Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal are at the second and third spots with 576 and 575 runs respectively. Another centurion of the match, Heinrich Klaasen also gained places and reached seventh on the list with 430 runs in 11 games.


Purple Cap

Mohammed Shami continues to don the highest wicket-takers cap with 23 scalps in 13 matches. With one wicket in the match, Mohammed Siraj claimed the eighth spot with 17 dismissals while Bhuvneshwar Kumar moved ahead of Ravichandran Ashwin to attain the 11th spot. the pacer has 15 dismissals in 13 games. There was no other noticeable change in the list.
