RCB vs PBKS IPL 2025 Final Prize Money: Both teams have been part of the IPL ever since the first edition in 2008 and their dreams of lifting their maiden title will finally end on Tuesday. When both Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings enter the field for the IPL 2025 summit clash on Tuesday, they will try to bounce back from their past heartbreaks and near misses and will aim to script history.

After almost 10 years, this tournament will witness a brand new champion amongst the teams who have been playing it since the first season. Mumbai Indians won their first trophy way back in 2013 and after that, the title has been won by repeated winners, where teams like Sunrisers Hyderabad (2016 winners) and Gujarat Titans (2022 winners) were not part of the original eight teams. But on Tuesday in Ahmedabad, two teams, who have had plenty of support from the fans, and have witnessed lots of drama and history, are on the verge of achieving their long-awaited dream.

The Rajat Patidar-led side has had a painful past. They have featured in three IPL finals and that too way back in 2011, 2009, and 2016. But on all three occasions, they suffered a heartbreaking loss during the summit clash. Despite having a star-studded lineup, they couldn't win any of the summit clashes and thus their motto of 'E Saala Cup Namde' remains unfulfilled.

At the same time, the Punjab-based franchises are in unchartered territory. They had played in a summit clash just once and that too way back in 2014, which turned out to be a run-fest. After that, they have only been seen reeling in the lower half of the points table and have rarely qualified for the playoffs. But Shreyas Iyer, who had lifted the title last year while playing for KKR, led PBKS from the front in the ongoing season and had also helped the team finish as the tale toppers in the points table.

IPL 2025 Prize Money

There are a lot of things at stake for both the teams besides glory. Whichever team wins the upcoming summit clash, would be awarded a prize money of a whopping amount of Rs 20 crore, whereas the runners-up would get Rs 13 crore. It's the same amount as what was being given during IPL 2024, where the Kolkata Knight Riders were the winners and Sunrisers Hyderabad ended as runners-up.

But the threat of rain looms large, as it had already played a spoilsport in Qualifier 2. If it does rain again in Ahmedabad, then the contingency plans would be implemented, although the fans of both teams would hope for a full-fledged 40-over match as both the teams are aiming to end their 18-year-old title drought.
