MI vs LSG IPL 2025: The Lucknow Super Giants lost to Mumbai Indians by 54 runs during their IPL 2025 match on Sunday. They couldn't chase the mammoth target of 216 runs and were skittled out for 161 runs. It was their second consecutive loss to the Mumbai-based franchise, which has dented their chances of reaching the IPL 2025 playoffs.
The Rishabh Pant-led side have scored 10 points after playing in 10 matches and are lying at the sixth position in the points table. In order to keep their chances of reaching the playoffs alive, they now have to win at least three of their next four matches. These three victories will help them end their group stage at 16 points and that would be enough for them to reach the playoffs.
If the Lucknow-based franchise does win their next four matches, then they will score 18 points and this will give them enough chance to finish as the top two and play during the first qualifier, which will be held in Hyderabad.
