IPL 2025: Mumbai Indians players among the likes of Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Chahar, and Karn Sharma, visited the Ayodhya Ram Mandir ahead of their IPL 2025 clash against Lucknow Super Giants on Friday. Accompanying them were Suryakumar’s wife, Devisha Shetty, and Chahar’s wife, Jaya, as seen in an image from their visit.

The distance between Lucknow and Ayodhya is around 2 hours and 40 minutes, and it appears that the players took a day off to make a spiritual visit before their crucial fixture. Suryakumar Yadav has been in sublime form, playing a crucial role in Mumbai's commanding eight-wicket victory over KKR. Chasing a modest target of 117, he smashed an unbeaten 27 off just nine balls, sealing the win in emphatic fashion. His knock included a stunning shot against Andre Russell, which left both fans and experts in awe.

While Ryan Rickelton’s unbeaten 62 off 41 balls provided the stability in Mumbai’s chase, Suryakumar’s explosive cameo ensured a dominant finish. Moreover, the innings also marked a personal milestone, as he crossed 8,000 runs in T20 cricket.

Despite their victory over KKR, Mumbai Indians have struggled overall in IPL 2025, securing just two points from three matches.
