IPL 2025 Updated Points Table After CSK vs LSG: Royal Challengers Bengaluru came up with a special performance against Chennai Super Kings and ended up beating the five-time champions in the IPL 2025 on Friday.

RCB breached the fortress of Chepauk as they registered their first win at the MA Chidambaram Stadium after 17 years, winning the match by 50 runs. They have kicked off their campaign in an emphatic fashion this season and have won their first two matches away from home. RCB have now jumped to the top spot in the IPL 2025 points table.

With wins in both of their first two matches, RCB have four points under their belt. They have a remarkable run rate of +2.137. RCB had defeated the defending champions, Kolkata Knight Riders, in their first match of the tournament at the Eden Gardens. RCB were put into bat first against CSK and the visitors produced a magnificent effort to post a total of 196/7 on a challenging track of Chepauk. Skipper Rajat Patidar led from the front and was the top run-getter for his side with a 51-run knock in just 32 balls on the back of four boundaries and three sixes.

Once they had runs on the board, RCB could afford to attack with the ball for wickets and were off to a brilliant start in the second part of the game as well. They picked three early wickets inside the powerplay. CSK tried to bounce back but couldn't really get going as RCB bowlers kept things tight in the middle and kept taking wickets in regular intervals. They restricted the hosts to 146/8 in their 20 overs in the end and registered a famous win.
