Rajasthan Royals Retained Players List: The Rajasthan Royals on Saturday officially announced the retention of players list ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026.
In a high-profile move, star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been traded to the Rajasthan Royals (RR) from Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ahead of the 2026 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
South Africa batter Donovan Ferreira returned to his old franchise, the Rajasthan Royals, leaving Delhi Capitals for Rs 1 crore.
Rajasthan Royals have freed up INR 16.05 crores heading into the auction, giving them solid flexibility to make good purchases.
Royals have de-rostred the Sri Lankan duo of Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana, along with Fazalhaq Farooqi, among the overseas stars.
The side has made some changes in Indian players as they released Akash Madhwal, who has played most games (not for them, but MI). The others on the release list are Ashok Sharma, Kunal Rathore and Kumar Kartikeya.
Rajasthan Royals Players Retained:
Yashasvi Jaiswal, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Dhruv Jurel, Riyan Parag, Shimron Hetmyer, Shubham Dubey, Yudhvir Singh, Jofra Archer, Tushar Deshpande, Sandeep Sharma, Kwena Maphaka.
RR Released Players:
Kunal Rathore, Wanindu Hasaranga, Ashok Sharma, Kumar Kartikeya, Aakash Madhwal, Maheesh Theekshana, Fazalhaq Farooqi, Ashok Sharma.
RR Players Traded In
Ravindra Jadeja from Chennai Super Kings (CSK) — worth Rs. 14 crore.
Sam Curran from CSK — worth Rs. 2.4 crore.
Donovan Ferreira from Delhi Capitals (DC) — worth Rs. 75 lakh.
Sanju Samson to CSK — worth Rs. 18 crore.
Nitish Rana to DC — worth Rs. 4.2 crore.
