Sunrisers Hyderabad had a dream run in IPL this year, although they did miss out on winning the title as they lost to the Shreyas Iyer-led side in the summit clash. Ahead of the mega auction of the next season, the team management will aim to retain all their star players of IPL 2025 in order to lift the trophy the next time.

They bought Australia's star all-rounder for a whopping amount of Rs 20.50 crore and he led the team from the front. There are high chances that he might be retained for the next season.

Travis Head is another star performer, who went all guns blazing in the powerplay and helped the team break lots of batting records this year. Besides him, Abhishek Sharma is also one of the top contenders to be a retention for the team.

Heinrich Klaasen, who is considered one of the best batters in the shortest format due to his ability to hit both spinners and fast bowlers, might also be retained by the franchise in one of the highest salary brackets.

Nitish Kumar Reddy, who was one of the standout performers of the season, also won the Emerging Player of the Tournament award. He might be retained for just Rs 4 crore and since he was part of India's T20I squad against Bangladesh, it can affect his retention value further.

Although he was seen struggling with injuries in 2020, T Natrajan is one of the most lethal death bowlers in the tournament and there are high chances that the franchise might retain him for the next season.
